Statement of Faith

  • I believe the Bible, in its original text, to be the inerrant Word of YHWH Elohim (God) and the final authority in matters of faith and practice.  I do believe that His Truth comes out in all translations/versions.  However, there are nuances, beauty and poetry that are missed by not reading it in its original form, as well as, Hebraic understanding of life, language and faith.  (Romans 15:42 Timothy 3:16)

  • I believe there is only one YHWH Elohim (God), Father, Son and Holy Spirit!  The Father is the unseen, omnipresent Source of all being, revealed in and by the Son, experienced in and by the Holy Spirit. The Son proceeds from the Father, and the Spirit from the Son. With reference to God's creation, the Father is the Thought behind it, the Son is the Word calling it forth, and the Spirit is the Deed making it a reality.  We “see” God and His great salvation in the Son of God, Yeshua Messiah, then “experience” their reality by faith, through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit.

  • I believe that Yeshua is the ONLY way!  There is no OTHER way.  (John 3:17John 6:44John 10:9John 14:6Romans 10:92 Timothy 1:8-10)

  • I believe that we are saved by grace through faith alone and that we are only saved through the shedding of innocent blood, Yeshua's death on the cross.  We die, are buried and raised a new creation upon our confession of Him, our water baptism (mikvah) and being born of the Holy Spirit.  (John 3:3-13)

  • I believe we show our obedience and our love to our Heavenly Father and our Messiah, by following the Torah, the instructions given to us.  (Matthew 7:12Matthew 19:16-19John 14:15, 21; 15:9-10Romans 13:8, 10Galatians 5:142 John 1:4-6Revelation 14:12)

  • I believe that what was given in the beginning, and written down for our instruction, was done to help us in our walk to become more and more like Yeshua, as our faith and His grace finish us.  (Romans 15:42 Timothy 3:16)

  • I believe without Torah, we can't know Yeshua, but that we can also miss Him, by putting our faith in them, rather than in Him.  "Know Torah, Know Yeshua; No Torah, No Yeshua!"  (Matthew 21:41-43;John 5:38-40Romans 6, 7)

  • I believe that those who are followers of Yeshua are being attacked by Satan, both past, present and future.  (Genesis 3:15Matthew 5:10, 12John 15:20Revelation 12:17Revelation 13:7)

  • I believe the New Testament is a revelation of the Old Testament.  It doesn't make the Old Testament a relic.  Rather it is establishing it, revealing it, making it clear through our faith!  It is one whole, not two halves.  (Matthew 6:30; 8:26; 14:31; 16:8Luke 12:28Romans 3:31; 10:2-4)

  • I believe we must be doers of the Word, not hearers only!  (James 1:22; 2:26)
